Saratoga Human Resources Solutions was engaged to assist company leadership in developing HR policies and practices, and to provide guidance for employee relations and compliance issues.
Saratoga Human Resources Solutions met extensively with senior management to understand their priorities and main concerns. We then developed an employee handbook and re-wrote job descriptions for all staff. We also created a competency-based performance management system, where each job was evaluated on performance metrics specific to that role, and ensured that these performance measures were tied directly to the job descriptions. Saratoga HR then developed a step-by-step manual for managers to assist in the implementation of the program.
The client now has a robust, modern and thorough way in which to communicate with staff about performance, and to plan for staff growth and development. The Employee Handbook, associated forms and template also provided management with a fair, consistent and non-discriminatory approach to daily management of their workforce.
