This prominent skilled nursing facility in Upstate New York employs 200 non-union employees.
Saratoga Human Resources Solutions was contacted by counsel for the facility. The board of directors had become concerned about the culture within the facility, and the effectiveness of leadership in assuring a positive work environment, as well as the ability to attract and retain staff.
Working with the board and counsel, Saratoga Human Resources Solutions conducted an exhaustive, on-site cultural assessment, including over 60 extensive interviews with staff. The review included a number of organizational metrics, a review of processes, communications, reporting relationships and other topics.
Saratoga Human Resources Solutions prepared a lengthy report to the board and to legal counsel. The report included observations, metrics and a significant number of recommendations. The report was adopted by the board, and a number of the recommendations were implemented.
